Song Spotlight: Marooned In Realtime

This song started out with a guitar riff Daniel Anderson played one afternoon back in 2014 I believe. It was in 3/4 time, which I don’t use that often, so I came up with a little programmed beat that gave it an almost “What a Wonderful World” 50’s vibe (if we were in the Fallout universe).

The noise solo’s are a combination of my Nord Lead 2X and a speech by Terrence McKenna chopped up and pitch shifted. And the piano at the end is the 1889 Decker Brothers grand piano from my grandfather’s old house, that never really could be successfully tuned – which gives it a damaged, warped sound.
